Natural Dyes with Allison Belshaw
In this hands-on natural dyeing workshop, participants will explore how colours and patterns can be created on fabric using natural dyes. We will work with cotton napkins and a selection of prepared natural dye baths, learning some of the basic principles of natural dyeing along the way. Participants will experiment with simple techniques for creating patterns on their fabric, including folding, tying and resist dyeing.
No experience necessary. All materials provided.
